Depiero Family Fishing is the brand name for an Alaskan Salmon fishing boat. The crew has been departing seasonally for the past few years with much success. He contacted me for a logo to be used on retail packaging and shipping boxes.
For his logo Depiero wanted to capture the Alaskan mountains and also wanted to integrate colors from the American flag. I sketeched out some water and made the mountains bold. I also included a silhouette of a fish hidden in the counter of the letter P, which I've highlighted above.
